Technical instructions for participants in the photo competition

Image format and style:

• Portrait / vertical image (vertical)

• Aspect ratio: 4:3

• Black and white – you can choose the BW setting directly from the camera or edit the image afterwards

• The photo can be taken with the front camera (selfie) or the rear camera – the most important thing is the atmosphere and the encounter.
   

iPhone – how to get the best picture quality?

1. Open Settings > Camera

2. Make sure the format is 4:3 (default, do not select "square" or "16:9")

3. Take a picture in portrait orientation (hold the phone upright as you normally would)

4. Open Camera > top menu (arrow) > turn off "Live Photo"

5. If you want, you can directly select a black and white filter (Mono, Silvertone, etc.)

6. Lighting is important – natural light is best! Avoid too strong shadows or direct sunlight.

Android (Samsung, Huawei, Xiaomi, etc.) – how to ensure quality
 

1. Open Camera > Settings

2. Find "Picture Size" or "Resolution" and select 4:3

3. Take the photo vertically – don’t use widescreen or square settings

4. Disable "beauty filters" if they are automatically turned on

5. If your camera has filters, you can choose black and white or keep the color and convert it later

6. Use natural light, and aim to make sure that the expression and gaze on the face are clearly visible.
    

Please submit the image in its original size – do not crop, reduce or modify the file size yourself. We will make the necessary adjustments for the exhibition.

Include your name, age (if desired), contact information, and a short description: who is in the photo and why this moment is significant.
